5 DAYS - FULL IMMERSION

A 5-day full immersion Master dedicated to conferring the knowledge and the culture necessary to work as Make-Up Artist for editorials and fashion shows, starting from the concept and the dynamics of backstage, up to the interpretation, management and execution of customer requests.
Manual technique, stylistic requirements, the trends of the moment, the looks that have made the history of fashion, the timing and the background, the internal dynamics, mistakes to avoid, the organization of work and positions, the knowledge of key figures with which you will get in touch at work, are just some of the key points that will be explored by professionals active in the field, who will provide their professional experience on the subject, for a first real contact with a fascinating world, made of rules and canons in stark contrast to the philosophy of beauty as we are used to know it.
The Master Fashion Make Up provides, in an excursus between theoretical bases and practical exercises, the essential elements to bring members to acquire the skills necessary to interpret the mood of photo shoots or fashion shows, and be able to master the dynamics of fashion business with complete skills ranging from knowledge of the dynamics of fashion system to the study of different techniques and styles of makeup, and from learning and understanding of moods to the different light settings that govern every work context. The goal is to train professionals able to interpret the concept and mood of a photo shoot or a collection through the make-up of the face, also acquiring the skills to work in symbiosis with art directors, stylists and photographers to create a look consistent with the message you want to convey in the catalog images, lookbook, advertising, editorials and fashion events.
It is also foreseen the experience on the photographic set with photographer and professional model, and the delivery of professional shots useful to increase their portfolio.

At the end of the course, the following is issued:

• Certificate of attendance and participation in the Master
• Book Photos of the works performed in the Academy and the Shooting performed in the Studio complete with post-production.

Cost for 5 days: € 2.000,00 VAT included 
Professional Shooting and a MAC Cosmetics Product Kit for every student are included.

Course hours: 9.00am - 1.00pm / 2.00pm - 6.00pm
MAC Cosmetics Make-Up products, Models and consumables are provided by the Academy, Students must bring their own brushes and applicators.
